Welcome to “Bankruptcy with Ben.” Btzalel ‘Ben’ Hirschhorn created this platform in conjunction with his role as head of the Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights Practice Group at SBAGK, LLP. With years of dedicated engagement in the bankruptcy sphere, Ben brings extensive experience in navigating business, insolvency, and restructuring matters across New York, as well as nationwide creditor representation.

Through our YouTube channel and social media platforms, we explore the latest trending topics in the legal business world and beyond, demonstrating how these cases impact stakeholders beyond immediate parties.
As a certified mediator for the Eastern and Southern District of New York Bankruptcy Courts, I aim to achieve equitable resolutions for all parties. I also contribute to the legal community by mentoring aspiring professionals through judging mock court competitions from high school to law school.

Education
Ben earned his Bachelor of Talmudic Law from Midrash Shmuel Talmudic College, where he developed a strong foundation in Jewish legal principles and ethical teachings. He further pursued his passion for law by obtaining a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, equipping himself with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary legal practices and jurisprudence.
Practice Areas
Our practice also encompasses real estate litigation in state courts throughout New York where he represents borrowers in foreclosures, parties in real estate ownership disputes, quiet title actions, partition actions, deed fraud disputes, fraudulent conveyances, and adverse possession actions.
Btzalel is admitted to the courts of New York State, U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern, and Southern Districts of New York. He has handled matters throughout the United States including but not limited to Alabama, Georgia, California, Maryland, Oregon, and Texas.
